Kyle Kloster Wrangling data, algorithms, and code in the SF Bay

About

Me. I am an applied mathematician and computer scientist working in tech in the SF Bay. My research interests include computational geomtetry, machine learning, algorithm design, matrix computations, optimization, and graph theory, all in service of large-scale and high-throughput data analysis.

More recently I’ve been teaching myself music theory and how to play ukulele and classical guitar, and have been working on an AI-in-music project I hope to post in my projects section soon. I’m also interested in feminism in STEM fields, photography, board games, ultimate frisbee, and chess. In a former life, I was the number 5 ranked Super Smash Bros N64 player in the state of North Carolina.
